THE CATALINK SEARCH PROCESS
Unlike much of our competition, The Catalink Group does not rely on job boards or Internet search sites to find candidates. We identify candidates through a direct recruiting approach that helps us locate top professionals who may be only passively searching. We then match these professionals to the unique needs of our clients, and work toward a mutually beneficial arrangement between client and candidate.
Business Partnership
We view our client relationships as business partnerships. We invest additional time to understand your objectives, company culture and working environment. We then apply this knowledge to the candidate pool to deliver the best results for your organization.

Active Recruitment
We actively recruit from an expansive network of top professionals. For each placement, we speak to an average of 100 potential candidates. Every candidate has the requisite experience and skills.

Qualification Assessment
After establishing the general candidate pool, we thoroughly assess each candidate’s technical skills, specific industry knowledge and career accomplishments. We check references, verify information, and match the appropriate qualifications with the client need.

Personal Evaluation
Through the qualification assessment process, we narrow the general candidate pool to a short list of 10 to 12 candidates. We bring in these candidates for face-to-face interviews to assess communication skills and conduct a more in-depth analysis of their motivations. We also gauge candidate personality, and assess how that personality syncs with the client’s company culture. All candidates receive this in-person evaluation before being submitted to the client.

Finalist Selection
From the narrowed-down group, we select three or four finalists. These candidates represent the best match of skills, experience and personality for the client’s specific need. We then brief each candidate on the particulars of the client’s organization, job responsibilities, company culture and other relevant details. Once they are adequately prepared, we present the finalists to the client and coordinate interviews.

Post-interview Debriefing
After the client interviews the finalists, we gather feedback and measure interest level from the candidates. We then debrief the client, supplying candidate impressions and coordinating next steps.

Placement
Serving as a partner to both client and candidate, we help establish a smooth offer and acceptance process that accounts for the needs of both parties. Prior to any offer, we ensure that the chosen candidate is ready to join the new team. We then provide assistance with salary and benefits negotiation, and all other placement particulars.

Transitional Consultation
After the acceptance of an offer, we continue to work with candidate and client to ensure an efficient transition. Using what we have learned about both parties, we may recommend certain transitional actions to help the new hire achieve maximum productivity as quickly as possible.
